Ring's range splits by where the camera goes and how it's powered: Indoor Cam for inside, Outdoor/Spotlight Cam for walls and yards, Floodlight Cam where you also want bright lighting, and video doorbells for the front door. Battery models are easy to install; wired models don't need recharging.
Most Ring cameras can show live video without a subscription, but saving and reviewing recorded clips generally requires a Ring Home plan. Check Ring's current plan terms before comparing prices.
Newer models are sold in 2K and 4K versions. Higher resolution helps you zoom in on faces and plates but uses more Wi-Fi bandwidth and battery.
